Omega Service Center - BAD SERVICE EXPERIENCE

I just want to share my bad service experience with the Omega Service Center in Makati 6750 Building in Ayala Center.

I brought my watch, a Bond Seamaster 300M, for service because it began running slow on the last month of its 2 year warranty.  I had the watch placed through full service in Sept 2007, and since the warranty was still active, i decided to see whether it would be honored.

The staff were courteous and professional, as always.  They said they can honor the warranty within the same month of the warranty expiration, so i thought, that's good.  I get it back after a re-oiling about a week later.

I end up bringing it back because when i tried out the stopwatch, the second hand stalls in the 3rd quadrant.  They take it in, look at it, and say they'll take care of it.

I come back after several days, to claim it, and they have indeed addressed the problem., and after a few days, while playing with my daughter, without any impact to the watch, the stop/start timer button just FALLS OFF.

i am lucky enought to retrieve it without any loss of parts, and bring it back, AGAIN.  They say that they didn't set a clip when they put the watch back together.  This was last week.

Now, i realize that the self winding mechanism doesnt work.  Sigh.

To think that this place is supposed to be the "Casa" of Omega watches.
